And so, it ended. Wrestling may be pre-determined but there are things that make a difference in the eyes of the fans. This includes wins and losses, as fans are often going to get behind wrestlers who are more successful than others. That is the kind of thing that can go all over the place, and now one WWE star has tasted defeat for the first time in a pretty long time.

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw featured Dominik Mysterio defeating Johnny Gargano in a singles match. The loss marked Gargano’s first loss in a televised singles match since the November 21, 2022 Monday Night Raw, ending a winning streak that was a day shy of four months. Gargano’s previous loss came at the hands of Omos, who defeated him last year.

Gargano has been on a bit of a hot streak. Check out some of his recent efforts:

Opinion: Gargano has been in a weird place in recent months as he has been winning matches but hasn’t been really going anywhere. Other than a spot in the Elimination Chamber for the United States Title, he hasn’t exactly had much to brag about. Maybe that can change after WrestleMania, but for now, things are not exactly going well for him and he could use a change of pace.
