They still can’t count. To say “Monday Night Raw” has been an influential show in the wrestling world is a major understatement. The show started back in January 1993 and has been going strong since. Over the years there have been several milestone moments but there’s one coming up that might top them all.

As announced on WWE.com, “Monday Night Raw” will be celebrating 25 years on the air on January 22, 2018. The site also calls this the 25th anniversary, though that’s not entirely accurate. The show will feature appearances by the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash, among others.

There have been a lot of matches on the show over the years. Here’s the first one.

Yokozuna vs. Koko B. Ware: Raw, January 11, 1993

Opinion: Timing issues aside, this is quite the remarkable moment for the show. To think that a show has been on the air that long is remarkable and yet somehow, “Smackdown Live” isn’t that far behind it (it turns 20 in 2019). WWE TV really is astounding when you think about it and there’s no indication that it’s slowing down anytime soon.
