PWInsider is reporting that WWE has now filed an interesting trademark, and while exact details on what it remains unknown, we can speculate as to what it refers to.

The trademark is specifically for something titled “Global Localization” and was filed back on 4/7. The description reads as follows:

“Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network;  also providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment; fan club services, namely, organizing and staging events with wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the field of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs in the fields of sports entertainment; business development; entertainment services, namely, development and distribution of talent and content”

While the trademark could mean nothing of real value, we have our own assumptions. Bear in mind that these are unconfirmed, mere rumors as we speculate on what it may refer to.

Trademark Predictions

One of the two ideas we have is that it relates to the name for WWE’s U.K. division moving forward if they are to create a weekly show. If this is true, the name may be a reference to the explosion of British talent around the world.

The other idea we have is that this relates to the Australian show planned for later this year, in a stadium of approximately 100,000 people. This show is said to be larger than WrestleMania in terms of numbers- and we could definitely see the name fitting a show of that magnitude.

You can find a list of several upcoming Network shows, specials and so forth planned for later this year through the video shown below:
