Cena returned to the blue brand last night after failing to become number one contender to the Universal Championship during his match at ‘Elimination Chamber.’
Appearing on the show, Cena asked for a title shot and Shane McMahon declared that the ‘leader of the Cenation’ would go one-on-one against WWE Champion AJ Styles in a rehash of their 2016-2017 feud.
The stipulation of the match would see Cena enter the Fatal-5-Way to create a Six Pack Challenge if he was able to pick up a win against Styles on the show. That indeed he did, as you can see in the video we’ve provided below.
Meanwhile, on the show, Rusev was ringside as his ally Aiden English was swiftly defeated by 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura and Lana wasn’t featured on the card.
This led to the couple becoming furious that ‘Smackdown Live’ is billed as the ‘Land of Opportunity’ yet Cena was able to show up and be handed a possible title shot while Rusev was stuck in a supporting act.

Lana followed this up by saying that Rusev is more over than Nakamura, Roman Reigns, Styles and multiple others in the company and yet didn’t get the opportunity Cena got.
What are your thoughts on this whole issue? Do you believe the 16-time Champion deserves the right to have such a match or should Rusev have had the opportunity to earn it?
