Ringside News is reporting that NXT Superstar Ricochet and Impact Wrestling Knockout Tessa Blanchard have now officially broken up.

The professional wrestling business is an industry well known for issues with making relationships work. Superstars in any capacity are generally working almost every day of the year, traveling around the world. This makes it very hard for families too.

Ricochet and Blanchard were well known in the independents as one of the superior couples, even having a shirt created with the two Superstars represented as ‘King’ and ‘Queen.’ That is obviously no longer on sale.

Sources have now started to confirm that the couple called it quits some time ago. It was, at a time, a complicated relationship. To both of them, it was an on again/off again relationship.

Fidelity on both sides was reportedly an issue. Combine this with multiple reports on Blanchard’s behavior and you have a recipe for disaster.

Blanchard has been getting a reputation of not getting along with other competitors and has been an issue with WWE too. At one point, she was asked to leave the Performance Center due to her behavior. All of this is likely what prevented her from getting a WWE contract after the Mae Young Classic too.

Wrestling Rumors would like to wish both competitors the best for their future and we are sorry to hear things didn’t work out between them.

Below we have included a match where the two face off against one another in an intergender match on the independent circuit:
