What Record Did Braun Strowman Break In The Greatest Royal Rumble Match?

Braun Strowman did more than just win the Greatest Royal Rumble match yesterday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. ‘The Monster Among Men’ has now broken a record, according to WWE.com.

In a match featuring 49 other competitors, Strowman outlasted them all to win the match. In doing so, he surpassed a record previously set by Roman Reigns. Strowman eliminated 13 Superstars during the bout, passing the 12 Reigns had eliminated to earn his record back during the 2014 Royal Rumble match.

The list of victims are as follows:

2. Dan Matha
3. Big E
4. Heath Slater
5. Tye Dillinger
6. Titus O’Neil
7. Curt Hawkins
8. Great Khali
9. Shane McMahon
10. Bobby Lashley
11. Chris Jericho
12. Kevin Owens
13. Big Cass

In terms of percentages, Strowman eliminated 26% of his opponents, while Reigns eliminated 40% of his opponents. Depending on how you look at this, you’ll see one man achieving more than the other.
