NXT Talent Possibly Injured At Live Event

It appears that Carmella of NXT suffered a possible injury at a live event in Nashville, Tennessee in a match against Eva Marie.

During the match, Carmella took a bump to the back of the head and Eva quickly got the pin to end the match.

The referee threw up the dreaded “X” and pointed to the back of his head, calling a bunch of WWE trainers and Dr. Chris Amann came down to the ring.

Fans on Twitter have been reporting that the accident came when Carmella was draped under the bottom rope and on the apron and Eva hit a Running Boot, and this kick in particular was said to have some real impact.

Carmella was crying in the ring and was dazed, needing assistance to leave the ring.

As Eva left, she was met with “Please retire” chants from the fans in attendance.

Eva isn’t any stranger to controversy, as her history with the WWE Universe has shown.

Word is that Carmella is doing fine, and may be good to continue wrestling but the match was a real scare, and could have potentially ended Carmella’s career.
