It was revealed at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s “New Beginning in Osaka” show that former WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio would be appearing for the company at the upcoming “Strong Style Evolved” show.

At the show, Mysterio appeared via video where in a surprise to the fans watching online and in attendance, he challenged NJPW icon Jushin Thunder Liger at “Strong Style Evolved.”

Luger was on commentary through the night and immediately accepted the challenge after the video with Mysterio came to an end.

“Strong Style Evolved” is set to take place in Long Beach, California on March 25 and the event is already sold out, despite being well over a month away.

You can check out the video of Mysterio’s appearance at “New Beginning in Osaka” below.
