Following weeks of declining ratings, was the fourth week of the ‘WWE Mixed Match Challenge’ able to bounce back or did the decline continue?

As we previously reported, WWE officials have been unhappy with the decline in ratings, which has fallen over 50% since it first started.

Last night the show peaked at around 77, 000 live viewers according to WrestlingInc. This was around the time the match between ‘Raw’ team Goldust & Mandy Rose were defeated by the ‘Smackdown Live’ team in Jimmy Uso & Naomi.

Rusev & Lana both came out to cut a promo for their upcoming match against Bayley & Elias which is scheduled for next week, but by that point, the majority of viewers had dropped substantially.

Regardless, the show was up 25% from last week, which saw Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss defeat Sami Zayn & Becky Lynch. That show peaked at 62, 400 and had the lowest viewership of the season so far.

The premiere episode, which saw Sasha Banks & Finn Balor defeat Natalya & Shinsuke Nakamura remains the highest in terms of live viewers, which was at 135, 600.

As you can see, despite this week having an increased viewership rating, it still remains fairly low in relation to the first week, which had 76% more viewers.

Some people have been quick to blame WWE for not airing the WWE Mixed Match Challenge outside of the United States of America- which has alienated much of the audience that wants to watch the weekly Facebook Watch show.

Despite it not being live, we would like to remind fans that the WWE Mixed Match Challenge has been uploaded to the WWE Network.
