New WWE signees War Machine debuted at the NXT tapings before NXT TakeOver: New Orleans started, where they appeared under a new name.

During the tapings, Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli took on Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight). War Machine would debut under the new name of War Raiders, completely destroying both teams.

Hanson and Rowe, now the former War Machine, don’t appear to be personally receiving any name changes per say, though their new tag name will surely rub some fans the wrong way.

It is interesting to note that War Machine previously appeared at a TakeOver event with the nameplate as “War Machine” as opposed to War Raiders, so this is definitely a new, recent decision by WWE and the members of War Machine.
