Now that the case with former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann has been resolved, Swann’s lawyer has released a statement on the charges being dropped and the superstar returning to a WWE ring soon.

All seems well between Swann and his wife, fellow wrestler and current Impact Wrestling competitor Su Yung as the charges were dropped on the former due to insufficient evidence. Through Yung’s social media, she appears to believe everything is fine between the two.

Swann had a terrific lawyer in Ian Pickens, who released the following statement:

“We are very pleased with the resolution of these charges. We would like to thank the State Attorney’s Office for conducting a thorough investigation, as well as Mr. Swann’s family, friends, and fans that supported him through this. During our representation of Mr. Swann, we have come to know him as a kind and humble young man, who we believe has a bright future ahead of him. We are hopeful that with the dismissal of these charges Mr. Swann will be able to return to the WWE and our firm will do everything we can to assist him in returning to the ring. Thank you.”

It is unclear as to what WWE will do considering the suspension of Swann now that the case seems to be closed.

With the release of former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore  and another former Champion in ‘The’ Brian Kendrick on the shelf, 205 Live needs all the support it can get.
