The women in WWE are doing more than they probably ever have in the company, despite being the number one wrestling-based promotion for the majority of it’s lifespan. The women of ‘Smackdown Live’ are to compete in the first ever Money In The Bank match and Lana does not want to be an afterthought.

Lana released a tweet yesterday explaining that she wanted to be included in the first ever Money In The Bank match, asking Shane McMahon to negotiate with her into joining it.

The Money In The Bank match was revealed this past ‘Smackdown Live‘ by Shane McMahon after the Fatal-5-Way women match to determine the number one contender for Naomi’s Smackdown Live Women’s Championship never started due to a brawl.

Lana has yet to debut on ‘Smackdown Live,’ but has been training at NXT live events and with her husband, Rusev. WWE have released a gallery teaser of what we might expect from Lana’s attire and it goes alongside the report that Lana would be taking the gimmick of ‘Emmalina.’

Editor’s Note:

I would love to see Lana in the Money In The Bank match. I seen in response to her tweet that a bunch of fans thought she hasn’t earned her spot and has never had a match. Bear in mind, she competed at Mania and looked great and has been training for months down in NXT at Live Events. A good debut would be to enter herself into the Money In The Bank match.
