Did we ever think we would see Impact Wrestling hold another live event again? Sometimes we get the surprises we didn’t know we wanted. This is one of them.

WrestlingInc is reporting today that Impact Wrestling have confirmed they will be having live events again, beginning later this year.

The first show appears to be Saturday, August 5 in Richmond County Hall Ball Park in Staten Island, NY. This marks the first regular live event for the company since the fall of 2014. Tickets are on sale June 9.

While this is the only live event confirmed so far, a tweet Impact put out themselves seemingly confirms that there will be more.

Impact Wrestling are currently on a tour of India, with notable changes already taking place.

Editor’s Note:

I am so glad Impact are finally doing live events again. Anything they can do to continue getting people invested in their product is a plus. I wish I was there to go to it.
