The New Day are some of the funniest people in all of professional wrestling and Big E is at the center of that.

A fan on Twitter recently tweeted a photo to Big E featuring several current WWE talent in a ring glancing at a camera, asking him to clarify what the picture is in reference to.

On a larger scale, here is the picture the fan tweeted:

From left to right:

Seth Rollins, Big E, Aron Rex/Damien Sandow, Hunico/Sin Cara, Bo Dallas, Leo Kruger/Adam Rose.

As you can see from the image above, this is clearly a line-up for NXT, as indicated by the color of the ropes, the collection of wrestlers in the ring and the lighting. Big E would respond to this fan.

This would ultimately lead to Seth Rollins responding to Big E in reference to the image, as he is shown in the picture too.

This season of NXT was to be using the game show format that was in place before NXT became what it is today, developmental. This season was replaced by what we have now.

The New Day made their debut on ‘Smackdown Live‘ this past week and are challenging The Usos for the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship at ‘Money In The Bank.’

Seth Rollins will be competing against Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Finn Balor in a Fatal-5-Way match at ‘Extreme Rules‘ to determine the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Championship at ‘Great Balls Of Fire.’

Editor’s Note:

I know there is a lot of hate out there for NXT as a game show, and I am not even sure if the episodes exist on the WWE Network, but I would love to watch them. I have seen every season before, but I actually enjoyed them. It was based more on entertainment than wrestling, but it is still a part of history. It also led to the creation of The Nexus, my favorite faction in wrestling history, as short lived as it was. However, if the athletes didn’t want that, than neither do I. I can see how it negatively affects them.

What did you think of NXT as a game show format? Would you have liked to see this season? Let us know in the comments down below or over on our Facebook page or Twitter account. Additionally, you can follow me at @SOSNH1995 on Twitter if you so desire. Thank you!
