American Alpha May Possibly Be Reuniting On Raw

According to Ringside News, by way of Wrestling Observer Radio, former SmackDown Tag Team Champions American Alpha may be reuniting on Raw.

American Alpha were one of the most beloved tag teams down in NXT. When they made the call-up to SmackDown Live, they didn’t last long before being broken up as Jason Jordan went to Raw.

Now that Jordan and Chad Gable are both back on the same brand- now Raw as opposed to SmackDown Live- it is being reported that the two former teammates will get back together for the greater good.

So how would this happen? The plan appears to be in motion. The past few weeks on Raw, Gable has lost to Dolph Ziggler and former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre in separate singles matches.

With Jordan previously out on injury- yet cleared to return, we’ve heard many times within the past month or so that he has been backstage but not used

This means that Jordan could proverbially return to aid Gable against McIntyre and Ziggler.

Dave Meltzer had the following to say on the matter:

“Jordan’s cleared so they’re just trying to figure out what to do so I suppose you could do that.”

“I will say this as bad as the tag team division is they could use Gable and Jordan as a team and also without it Gable’s career is going nowhere and he’s pretty damn talented.”

It will be interesting to see if WWE continues with this storyline and does have American Alpha reunite, given their recent lack of storyline ideas for the tag team division.
