As reported last week, there has been mounting speculation TNA would be getting out of the pay-per-view industry in 2015. Executive Vice President John Gaburick announced the company would air “Lockdown” as a special event on television rather than pay-per-view, which was different from years past.

However, TNA President Dixie Carter has now spoken out regarding the issue via Twitter, confirming more pay-per-views.

TNA used to hold monthly pay-per-views, but eventually stripped it down to just four per year. With the company moving from Spike to Destination America, where “Impact Wrestling” will have a significantly lower viewership than previously accumulated due to subscriber count, there was speculation the emphasis would instead be put on this programming.

“Impact” debuts this upcoming Wednesday from the Manhattan Center in New York City, and will then move to its new time Friday nights from thereon out.

Editor’s Note

One must ask themselves at some point is the pay-per-view industry even worth it?
