“The Icon” Sting opened up “Monday Night Raw” for the first time in his career this week, being sure to make note he was in the big time ahead of his WrestleMania match with Triple H.

With that in mind, it appears his former employer is trying to capitalize on its Hall of Famer being in the spotlight.

Tuesday, TNA announced it would be releasing a new “Best of Sting” DVD, issuing it to ShopTNA.com at $17.99. The speculation, as noted by WrestlingDVDNews.com, is the company wanted to utilize the momentum Sting has gained in WWE as a way to promote the purchasing of the DVD. However, things did not go as planned.

Not long after announcing it, the company pulled the listing for the film from its website, with the outlet believing it was pressure from WWE that led to it. It is said with Sting under contract with WWE, the company was putting pressure on Dixie Carter and Co. not to release it. Many will recall, WWE released its own “Best of Sting” compilation last year.

The listing for the movie has since gone back up online, including its trailer as well. The description of it reads as:
