Current WWE Champion The Rock has agreed to work several additional dates for WWE following WrestleMania 29. It had been suggested that The Rock would take an extended leave of absence until perhaps SummerSlam or even next year’s WrestleMania.

As well as working the post-WrestleMania edition of Raw on April 8th, advertising for the May 19th ‘Extreme Rules’ PPV now confirms The Rock’s involvement in the the pay-per-view. It’s also expected he’ll work at least one edition of Raw or SmackDown in between these dates.

It’s not yet known what is planned for The Rock post-WrestleMania, as it’s widely expected his match with John Cena will be the end of their feud.
