For some time, it had been speculated new WWE and NXT Superstar KENTA was nearing his debut on television. Last week, it was then confirmed KENTA would appear before the live audience at “NXT Takeover 2” alongside WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair to address the crowd.

Now, according to F4WOnline.com, there appears to be a plan in place for the Japanese star to make his in-ring debut for the company.

According to the source, KENTA’s appearance at “NXT Takeover 2” will then set up for his first match on the very next slate of episodes of “NXT.” The next series of tapings will be held the next night, this upcoming Friday.

WWE officially signed KENTA earlier this summer, debuting him alongside Hulk Hogan live during a Japanese tour. Former WWE Superstar Funaki recently gave him great praise, noting his eagerness to adapt to the United States culture.

He is not expected to change his name upon debuting on television.

Editor’s Note

The long-awaited debut of KENTA is near. Hopefully, he is the force many expect him to be, and we see him on the main roster soon.
