Following Scott Hall’s induction into the WWE Hall of Famer as Razor Ramon back in 2014, it appeared he was on the mend. The former Intercontinental Champion, who had been plagued with alcohol and substance abuse issues in years past, seemed to be clean after working alongside friend Diamond Dallas Page.

However, last month, Hall was escorted from the Skate & Surf Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey after allegedly showing up drunk and unfit to appear. Video of Hall’s appearance at the event surfaced, as he stumbled his way through a segment involving an independent wrestler.

It does seem now though Hall is looking to get clean once more.

The former star took to his Twitter Monday night to announce his future plans:

He would then note the road has been tough thus far:

Hall had previously signed on with Global Force Wrestling as one of its legends, a move that surprised many. However, following the incident at the festival, he was immediately removed from billing for the promotion. DDP would eventually comment on his friend’s status, noting there would be light at the end of the tunnel for the former nWo attraction:

“Scott is going through a life process. He’s stumbled along the way, but he is doing well over all. I’ve got his back.”

There had been some speculation as well WWE would be wanting to use Hall in a mentor role down in NXT. This was originally thought to be the reason GFW had pulled him, however, it appears that was merely because of the incident at the festival. He has appeared at the WWE Performance Center in the past, but nothing came of it.

He was last seen on WWE television in March during WrestleMania when he interfered in the Triple H/Sting match.

Editor’s Note

Glad he is getting clean. Wishing him the best.
