TNA Wrestling is not for sale, according to majority shareholder Panda Energy.

An internal memo obtained by ProWrestling.net acknowledges the recent rumors surrounding the sale of the company, with Janice Carter – mother of TNA President Dixie Carter and Panda Energy executive – stating to all staff that the company is not for sale.

The rumors of Panda Energy looking to sell TNA have gained momentum in recent weeks, with several sources claiming the Carter family are looking to sell and have been for a while. ProWrestling.net reported that a ‘major name’ had been in contact with management and Dave Meltzer has confirmed a number of people have shown interest in TNA. Fighting Spirit Magazine’s Brian Elliot has also confirmed the Carters are looking for a sale.

Only yesterday, WrestleZone’s Justin LaBar reported Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan was interested in purchasing the company.
