As noted Thursday on Wrestling Rumors, Rob Van Dam’s contract with TNA has reportedly expired. In an audio statement made earlier today, Van Dam attempted to give clarity on his contract situation.

In the statement, Van Dam said he could not directly talk about what was happening and what his future plans were since it “may be detrimental to [his] ongoing business affairs,” but stated all questions would be answered soon. Van Dam did not appear on IMPACT Thursday evening.

Audience discretion is advised.
