According to F4WOnline.com, there was a sentiment backstage at Monday Night Raw that Jake “The Snake” Roberts may be in line for a WWE Hall of Fame induction soon. The report claims that the induction may come as soon as this April.

Roberts made a surprise return to WWE Monday night at the end of “Old School” Raw, where he helped the New Age Outlaws and CM Punk fend off The Shield. He then placed his snake Damien on top of the fallen Dean Ambrose as Raw went off the air.

Despite talks of him wanting to assist TNA, it is said that he is in good favor with the current WWE brass. He had long lobbied for a return at the Royal Rumble, though some believe it is unlikely now since he appeared at the end of Raw.

Roberts’ success of late has been well-documented, as he turned to Diamond Dallas Page and his DDP Yoga to help him turn his life around. He also recently said that wanted to return to WWE to offer assistance to some of the wrestlers and give advice about ring psychology.

The 2014 WWE Hall of Fame induction will take place on April 5 in New Orleans, one night before WrestleMania XXX. Wrestling Rumors reported recently that The Ultimate Warrior is another name being floated around for induction this year.

Video of his return Monday night can be found below.
