Several fans have contacted us over the last week to report their issues obtaining a refund from WWE after being unable to watch the event via the company’s online PPV service.

Fans have reported problems initially contacting WWE’s Customer Support, with one fan saying he had sent ‘several emails’ and received no response. Other fans report that when they do get a response from the team, the replies seem automated and don’t actually acknowledge the issue, instead asking them questions many have already answered in previous emails.

One fan, Ben Davis, told us of how his seven year old had ran a lemonade stand in order to pay for the event, but was unable to watch it via the online service and how he is yet to receive an apology or refund from WWE.

We ordered the PPV directly through the WWE website. Upon the start of the event we got an error message stating “we are sorry for the inconvenience but the service is not available” We attempted to vie it through our desktop, our laptop as well as an IPad with no success. We were never able to view the event through WWE.I have contacted them numerous times but have yet to receive a refund or an apology of any sort. When a seven year old worked his tail off to get this PPV and we had to tell him it just simply wouldn’t work- that is just plain unacceptable!

We have also seen a series of emails Ben has sent to WWE complaining about the issues – each email has received the same response from WWE, asking for information already provided in earlier emails.

We have reached out to WWE for comment and will update should we receive any response.
