E! has announced this morning on its public relations Twitter account that WWE’s Total Divas program has had its first season extended into November. The series was only intended to run six episodes for its first set.

The announcement came as followed:

WWE is said to be very happy with the show, as the ratings have continued to rise week-by-week. The divas were a significant part of Tuesday’s SummerSlam press conference, and have a match tying the series together at the pay-per-view as well.

It is also worth noting that this Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view will directly compete with Total Divas. Be sure to follow our coverage of the show weekly on the Wrestling Rumors Twitter account as well.
