CM Punk and John Cena Have Injury Scares at Live Event

F4WOnline.com is reporting that Thursday’s WWE live event in Leeds, England saw two scary incidents for some of WWE’s top stars.

The first was with CM Punk, who took on Erick Rowan and Luke Harper while teaming with Daniel Bryan. After Punk hit the GTS on Rowan for the victory, he reportedly stayed down and needed to be checked on. Those in attendance said that Punk took a bad spot earlier in the match, but finished it out. He was able to walk backstage as Bryan celebrated with fans.

Alongside, WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena got banged up in his match with Alberto Del Rio, where he sent Del Rio into the corner and went down himself favoring his ankle. The referees reportedly stopped the match and at one point even through up the “X” to signify an injury, but he was able to complete the match. It has already been said that Cena is currently working injured.
