It has been long speculated for some time, but it appears that former TNA Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are done with TNA, much like former World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin.

PWInsider.com reports that Daniels’ deal expires at the end of April, while Kazarian’s is up in May. Both are expected to remain off television, as the company writes them out.

Kazarian is a five-time TNA X Division Champion and a three-time Tag Team Champion, and has been with the company since 2006. He had previously been with TNA, but left to pursue some other options in WWE.

Daniels on the other hand has been with the company since its inception, and was one of its more popular stars over the years. He is a four-time X Division Champion, and held the tag team gold with Kazarian as Bad Influence twice. He has been a main eventer in the past, and was likely one of TNA’s more highly-paid stars.

The decision to not renew contracts has just been another part of the ongoing cost-cutting going on in TNA, despite it renewing the contract of some of its other stars like Gunner and Robbie E.

Editor’s Note

These guys are two of my favorites in TNA, and it will be a shame to see them go. That’s just the business, unfortunately, and I understand that though. Best wishes to them moving forward.
