Following this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, the following matches are rumored or expected to take place at the upcoming WWE pay-per-view “Extreme Rules” on May 19th.

WWE Championship Match
John Cena (c) vs. Ryback

The night after WrestleMania, Ryback attacked the new WWE Champion, effectively turning himself into a villain. This week on Raw, he explained that he would no longer stand in the shadow of John Cena, and claimed himself as the biggest challenge to the WWE Champion that the WWE Universe had ever seen.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Alberto del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

This past Monday on WWE Raw, Jack Swagger was victorious in singles competition against the World Champion. With Swagger moving into contention for the title, and Alberto del Rio still on the hunt for his rematch, the three will meet in a Triple Threat match at Extreme Rules.

Steel Cage Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H

Paul Heyman and his “client” Brock Lesnar set the challenge in place for this cage match during Monday Night Raw. Will Triple H accept, and will there be any additional stipulations added to their third exchange?

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Team Hell No (c) vs. Two Members of The Shield

This match has been rumored since before WrestleMania, and is expected to feature Kane and Daniel Bryan finally losing the titles.

Mark Henry vs. Sheamus

The World’s Strongest Man began attacking Sheamus starting last week on WWE Smackdown, with the assault continuing this Monday during Raw. Their beef is unknown at this point, but expect a collision between these two warriors live on pay-per-view.

Big Show vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton blames the Big Show for their tag team loss at WrestleMania to The Shield, as the Giant stood ringside and refused to get involved. However, the big man was denied the hot tag which resulted in Orton ultimately taking the fall for their team. While nothing has been announced yet, with Sheamus starting a program with Mark Henry, expect these two to collide at Extreme Rules.

United States Championship Match
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Antonio Cesaro

Kingston defeated Cesaro on Monday Night Raw to become a three-time US Champion. What better place to have the rematch than live on pay-per-view?

Intercontinental Championship Match
Wade Barrett (c) vs. R-Truth

R-Truth secured a surprise victory over the champion in singles action on Monday Night Raw, moving him right into the title hunt. A Battle Royale will take place this week on WWE Main Event, with the winner facing Barrett for the title; expect R-Truth to win.
