The Orton Family Welcomes New Daughter Into the World

There’d been speculation that the impending birth of a new baby would leave Randy Orton out of Survivor Series, but the delivery was helpfully delayed a few days so that the Viper could compete. We think the kid’s already a fan.

Randy and his wife Kim welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn Rose Orton, into the world earlier this week, just in time for Thanksgiving.

Now that’s something to be grateful for.

Orton’s got a bit of time off to celebrate the new addition to the family, perhaps explaining why the New Wyatt Family appeared only in a pre-taped segment on SmackDown this week. Randy will return next week to tag with Bray and take on American Alpha for the #1 contenders’s spot to the Tag Team Championship.

The Viper, already a dad, displayed some serious fatherly compassion at Survivor Series, where he broke character to comfort Shane McMahon’s kids after their dad suffered a legitimate injury during the match.
