The Raw after WrestleMania teased a few things, but we still don’t have a clear picture of what the red brand’s main event scene will look like for the next few months.

Raw’s next pay-per-view is Payback this month, and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is not booked for that show. According to today’s Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required), the next few big matches will feature Roman Reigns once again taking on Braun Strowman.

Following that, the teased contest between Braun and Brock will happen, which casts the match between Strowman and Reigns in a very interesting light.

Following that–of course–is Lesnar versus Reigns. The implication is that the Strowman championship match might happen at SummerSlam, with Reigns finally conquering the Beast at WrestleMania.

Braun Strowman puts Brock Lesnar on notice: Raw, April 3, 2017

It’s still speculation at this point, but don’t be surprised if the “2 in 23-2” turns out to be a year-long story development.
