Final NXT Takeover Toronto Card

Despite the excellent debut of Shinsuke Nakamura and his fantastic feud with Samoa Joe, there’s no denying that the past six months have been very weak for NXT. Sure, we’ve had some glorious moments, but not the consistent weekly entertainment we’d come to expect from what was WWE’s hottest brand.

However, we’ve got no reason to doubt the quality of Takeover Toronto tonight. Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura are two world-class superstars, and their clash tonight could main event WrestleMania as easily as NXT. The brand’s newly rebuilt tag division has multiple matches tonight, including a two-out-of-three falls match that might just steal the show. Asuka takes on a returning women’s champion, and in another singles match, we’re forced to choose between the “Glorious” and the “Perfect.” Who can decide?
