In a recent edition of WWE Kids Magazine, which is still around in the UK, WWE teases Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns in a photo spread that looks at Lesnar’s overall PPV record against some of the biggest names in the company. After showing his records against John Cena, Triple H, and the Big Show, Reigns is then included in the list, as if they are destined to face off against each other at WrestleMania 31.

Rumors have surrounded both men for well over seven months. Shortly after The Shield disintegrated on June 2, 2014, reports began claiming that WWE officials, specifically Triple H, believe Reigns is the next “big babyface” character for the company, and may possibly replace Cena as THE top babyface. They reportedly started planning for Reigns vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 in order to pass the young star the torch and set him up as the next big thing.

However, Reigns suffered an injury going into September’s “Night of Champions” PPV and would have to sit out for three months, which threw a monkey wrench in the company’s plan. Lesnar’s title reign has also backfired in the eyes of most fans, as well. They aren’t looking at Lesnar as a serious competitor, as much as they see him as someone that’s only on camera to collect a paycheck before he leaves again for UFC.

Where recent reports claimed that Lesnar and Reigns’ rumored ‘Mania match may not happen due to changes in the company landscape, the photo featured above seems to tease otherwise. The match long predicted may still come to fruition on March 29, 2015.

Editor’s Note:
I really hope we get a different match, but it looks like they definitely had this bout planned for some time if a photo spread like this exists.
