A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that the WWE may be interested in Fergal “Prince” Devitt. The report states that conversations between the two have taken place, but as of right now, neither party has reached the level of talking about signing with the company.

Devitt is an Irish superstar that competes currently for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He has been the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, NWA World Historic Middleweight Champion, NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, and two-time winner of the “Best of the Super Juniors” tournament.

In his current reign as IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Devitt leads a stable known as Bullet Club. The faction recently added former WWE and TNA superstar Drew Hankinson to their ranks. Hankinson is better known as his WWE personas Festus and Luke Gallows, as well as his recent TNA gimmick, DOC. Hankinson is competing under the name Doc Gallows in NJPW.
