According to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE is denying that it has been scouting a new giant from India who has been called, “The New Khali.” Reports hit the internet last week saying that the company was eyeing the seven-foot-plus monster, whose real name is Rajesh Kumar, but the company is now saying that these reports are false, as they have no affiliation with anyone by that name.

Many different wrestling sites reported last week that Indian media outlets were claiming a giant named Rajesh Kumar was training in Japan in hopes to sign with the WWE. These same reports claim that Kumar began to chase his dream of working with the WWE after meeting WWE superstar The Great Khali.

As noted in the Wrestling Observer, some people in India are actually calling Kumar, “The New Khali.”
