Multiple reports from sources such as “Wrestling Observer Radio” and others have provided an update on Daniel Bryan’s return and next feud. As previously reported, Bryan will return to in-ring competition on Jan. 25 as one of the 30 men in the annual Royal Rumble Match vying for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 31.

According to reports, Bryan has been added to the Jan. 12 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” as well as the Jan. 13 “Smackdown” tapings, but should not be competing in any matches during either event. Bryan will be on the shows simply to promote his return and set up tension between he and other superstars.

WWE officials reportedly want Bryan to begin feuding with “Mr. Money in the Bank” Seth Rollins upon his return, even during the “Road to WrestleMania.” There has been no confirmation in regards to if this means the company wants Bryan vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 31 or not, but this may be the match-up officials are looking for come March 29.

Editor’s Note:
I wouldn’t be mad at that…especially not if Rollins won the belt at the Rumble, and Bryan won the Rumble.
