According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, independent superstar Uhaa Nation has reportedly signed with WWE. As previously reported, speculation has been running rampant about WWE’s interest and pursuit of Nation, but apparently this is no longer a rumor, and a formal announcement should be made by the company soon about their acquisition.

As previously reported, WWE offered Nation an NXT deal soon after a fall tryout. It seems as if he has now signed with the company. Nation, real name Sesugh Uhaa, reportedly danced back-and-forth about signing a deal with WWE for some time. Nation attended a tryout at the WWE Performance Center in September before signing in December.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently described Nation as follows,

“He’s one of the bigger names on the indie scene because not only does he have the agility that is a big deal on small shows, but he got a muscular body like Vince McMahon favors, and is very strong for his size.

He’s not that tall. He’s clearly someone with potential. He’s been working with Dragon Gate and Evolve over the past couple of years.”

Editor’s Note:
This is a BIG get for WWE. Dude is nasty, and HUGE.
