A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that WWE COO Triple H still wants to re-build the WWE Tag Team division. As reported for the last year or two, Triple H wants the WWE to focus on developing solid tag teams that can repair and rejuvenate the once prestigious division.

Triple H’s plan has already been in affect, as can be seen by NXT establishing a Tag Team Championship in 2012. The COO wants tag teams to train and hone their craft in NXT, then have them move up to the main roster as a solid and united team. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) are a tag team that was developed through NXT.

Triple H also wants to take some of the underutilized talent on the main roster and make them into formidable tag teams, much like Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro have done. Reportedly, we may see Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel put together to form a new team in the near future.
