Randy Orton is set to return on Dec. 29. According to advertisements, Orton is slated to make his way back to WWE television during the Dec. 29 broadcast of “Monday Night Raw.”

Orton has been off of WWE TV since November. He was “injured” in storyline progression at the hands of Seth Rollins and The Authority prior to November’s “Survivor Series” PPV. While the company claimed Orton was injured following a Curb Stomp into a set of steel steps, the angle was strictly kayfabe.

The Viper has been away filming WWE Studios’ “The Condemned 2.” Although reports claimed Orton was set to return at WWE “TLC” on Dec. 14, he was still filming the movie and was not at the arena for the PPV.

Orton returns to “RAW” on Dec. 29, and will be working matches against Kane at WWE Live Events. Whether or not this means he will be facing Kane in a televised angle or not is yet to be seen, but The Apex Predator should return to major WWE storylines just before the new year.

Editor’s Note:
WWE needs stars like Orton back. He should be going after any last remnant of The Authority, if logic is at play in anything anymore.
