A new report from PWInsider.com has revealed further news about Sting’s current WWE contract. Sting, who finally stepped foot inside of a WWE ring on Nov. 23 during the main event of “Survivor Series,” has now signed a performer’s contract with the company, and may be used for more than just one match in the future, which was expected of the former champion prior to his debut.

Initial reports claimed that Sting would most likely only compete in one official WWE bout, possibly at WrestleMania 31. However, as previously reported, the company may use him in more than one match in the near future.

Both Sting and WWE officials believe that a match with The Undertaker would be best for business, but with the Stinger’s big debut pitting him against Triple H, it is likely that he and The Game will lock-up either at the company’s biggest annual event, or before.

There are no details yet on how long Sting’s contract runs or how much he’s getting paid,  but WWE’s current plan is to use him sparingly on television and only bring him in for “big” events. He will not work any Live Events and may not work more than a few matches during his tenure with the company.

Editor’s Note:
Would love to see Sting vs. Triple H. The Game would make Sting look like a million bucks, and would probably pull a better match out of him than The Undertaker would, even though that’s been a dream match for generations it seems.
