The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided some backstage news on Kevin Nash’s WWE contract suspension. As previously reported, Nash’s legends’ contract was suspended following his arrest on Dec. 23.

Nash and his son engaged in a pre-Christmas brawl, which was very well documented across Internet and television news outlets. In accordance to WWE policy, talent contracts must be suspended when accusations of domestic violence exist.

As Executive of Talent Relations and Live Events, Triple H would have been the one that suspended Nash’s deal. He also would have been the one to call and inform Nash of the situation. His contract should be reenacted once the situation is sorted out.

However, many are wandering whether or not a recent tweet from Nash about feuding with his “best friend” has anything to do with the situation with his contract behind-the-scenes, or if he was referencing his 2011 storyline with Triple H and CM Punk. You be the judge.

Editor’s Note:
I guess we won’t be getting a Nash entry during this year’s Royal Rumble.
