More Information About SummerSlam’s “Ring of Fire” Match

As we previously reported, Bray Wyatt will compete in his first main roster bout against Kane at SummerSlam in a “Ring of Fire” match. The question that arrived along with this announcement was, “what is a “Ring of Fire” Match, and is it just an Inferno Match?”

PWInsider.com is reporting that the “Ring of Fire” Match will indeed look like an Inferno Match, with fire surrounding the ring, but the outcome will not be decided by an opponent being set on fire. Normal pin-fall and submission rules will apply.

Kane has been involved in every other Inferno Match that the WWE has ever produced, winning most of them. He will soon be leaving WWE television in the fall to film See No Evil 2, and could very well be written off TV following this match on August 18th.
