In a recent interview with Larry Gallagher of ThisIsInfamous.com, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley confirms that his one man show will be taped for a WWE Network special on Nov. 23. Although most of the company resources will be broadcasting the 2014 “Survivor Series” the same night, a film crew will be in Brooklyn, New York to film Foley’s show in order to air the performance on an undisclosed date via the WWE Network.

Gallagher has yet to upload the entire interview with Foley to his site, but he did say that Foley claims the two parties agreed that the show would work well as a WWE Network special, and that it would be filmed during his upcoming tour. Gallagher writes,

“In my interview (which will also be up in its entirety on the site soon), he shared with me an update about his one man world tour that should have his fans very excited. When I asked about the recent announcement in regard to his November 23rd show in Brooklyn, NY being taped for TV he mentioned the following: “Well you know what? There was a last minute brokering and it appears like the show will be done instead for the WWE Network”. He also added, “Yeah it is awesome. I guess I kind of jumped the gun with the post. It really was like an 11th hour agreement where we both realized we were better off doing this thing together”.

Many fans had hoped WWE would run Mick’s popular show on the Network but up until today’s conversation it seemed as though it wasn’t going to come together. I can’t say how happy I am to hear this news as fresh original content like Mick Foley’s show is exactly what the WWE Network needs to strengthen itself.

No specific dates have been mentioned as to when the show will actually air on the WWE Network but just that fact that it will air should be a good sign for fans and a great incentive for people to jump on board and sign up for the network. You can still find seats for the Brooklyn show online here if you want to be at the taping.”

For all of Foley’s fans that have not been able to see his one man show, a subscription to the WWE Network will soon serve as a front row ticket into the entertaining world of one of wrestling’s most charismatic legends.

Editor’s Note:
I can’t wait to see this. Everyone has talked about how hilarious Foley’s sets are.
