A Last Man Standing Match is confirmed for WWE “Payback.” During the most recent WWE “Smackdown” tapings on May 13, John Cena accepted a challenge from Bray Wyatt, making a Last Man Standing Match between the two men official for WWE’s “Payback” event, which airs live on June 1.

As previously reported, WWE officials are very pleased with how the feud between Wyatt and Cena is going and may draw it out until WWE “SummerSlam,” which is held in August. Wyatt lost to Cena on the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania XXX, but defeated the Leader of the Cenation in a Steel Cage Match on May 4 during WWE’s “Extreme Rules” event.

This will be the third PPV match between the two men. Wyatt’s “Family members,” Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, have been making their presence known during every match so far between Wyatt and Cena, giving the Eater of Worlds the upper-hand. However, as of late, Cena has evened the playing field by having the WWE Tag Team Champions, the Usos, by his side.

Rumor has it that Rowan and Harper may challenge The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships soon. Their addition to the Wyatt and Cena program currently gives WWE Creative the opportunity to keep the matches fresh, while simultaneously birthing a new program between the two tag teams.

A Last Man Standing Match is won when one man knocks the other man down and the fallen competitor is not able to answer a 10 count.

Editor’s Note:
THIS should be a great match on June 1. Gonna go ahead and say it’s going to be the best, if not the second best of the night.
