Former MLB superstar Joe Canseco is trying to get into TNA Wrestling, or so it seems. Canseco reached out to TNA superstar Robbie E. Monday on Twitter, asking him to get him into the company so that he can be his bodyguard.

The former member of “the Bash Brothers” is no stranger to physical competition, as he made his MMA debut in 2009. Canseco holds black belts in karate and taekwondo, and practices Muay Thai as well.

Canseco isn’t the only former big time athlete trying to break into the wrestling business, or that is talking to Robbie E about joining up with TNA, as former boxing champion Riddick Bowe has also talked about wanting to pursue a career in sports entertainment.

Bowe told WrestlingRumors.net, that he is definitely trying to get into wrestling, and that he even wants “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan to be his “warm up” match.
