Former WWE Champion John Cena is not expected to be on Monday Night Raw, as well as any other WWE television program, until after Hell in a Cell on October 27th. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Cena is expected to return to WWE TV full-time after the PPV, starting with the episode of RAW on October 28th directly following the event.

WWE officials want Cena’s first appearance since the announcement of his return to be at Hell in a Cell. There were thoughts of having him appear on the October 21st edition of Monday Night Raw in order to further build towards his World Heavyweight Championship Match against current champion Alberto Del Rio, but officials feel as if his return will be more impactful to Hell in a Cell PPV buys if Cena is not seen until the event goes live.
