During the Nov. 3 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” a huge stipulation was added to the upcoming “Survivor Series” main event. On Nov. 23, Team Authority will face Team Cena. However, the stipulation added to the match states that if Team Authority loses the bout, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will no longer be the “authority” figures for World Wrestling Entertainment.

Vince McMahon, who has not appeared on WWE television in many months, appeared during the Nov. 3 to announce the stipulation for the “Survivor Series” main event during the opening segment of the show. This could be setting up the rumored McMahon vs. Authority angle WWE was planning on running with in 2013.

Reports claimed WWE creative was looking to have Triple H face someone on behalf of McMahon at the end of 2013 or at WrestleMania XXX. The point of the feud would have been to determine who had ultimate authority in WWE, and this could be where the 2014 “Survivor Series” leads us.

Team Cena, featuring Cena and likely Dolph Ziggler, along with other superstars, will face Team Authority on Nov. 23 at “Survivor Series.” If the Authority loses, they’ll no longer have any authority.
