WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler returned to active competition Tuesday night. Ziggler teamed up with Big E Langston to face Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho during Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings in Greensboro, North Carolina. Ziggler had not competed in a WWE ring since suffering a concussion at the hands (or feet actually) of Jack Swagger during Smackdown tapings back on May 7th.

Ziggler was medically cleared to compete again last week, but was still kept from action on Monday Night Raw. A World Heavyweight Championship match has been made between Ziggler and Del Rio for this Sunday’s Pay-Per-View event, Payback. If you’d like to see the outcome of Ziggler’s first match in over a month, check out Friday’s Smackdown *spoilers* here.
