PWinsider.com is reporting that former WWE and TNA superstar D’Lo Brown has been officially released by TNA Wrestling. Brown started with the company in 2009 working behind the scenes as an agent. His most recent work was done in front of the camera, as he was part of TNA’s “Aces and Eights” storyline. He was one of the first members to reveal themselves, being slated as the club’s “Vice President” before being kicked out of the group in May.

As part of the Aces and Eights storyline, Brown wrestled his first match on TV back on May 2nd against Kurt Angle, a match that he lost which set up his dismissal from the faction. Brown was in charge of tryouts for TNA’s Gutcheck competition, as well as being in charge of talent development.
