Former WWE Champion CM Punk will return to RAW on September 23rd. The WWE’s flagship program will be emanating live from Punk’s home town of Chicago, and F4Wonline.com is reporting that he will be featured on the program.

Earlier reports had stated that Punk was going to be taking some time off to heal from his nagging knee and ankle injuries, but it looks like Punk will be right back in the mix of things starting next Monday night.

Punk was last seen at WWE Night Of Champions, when he was put through a table by Ryback. His feud with Paul Heyman is expected to carry on at least until Survivor Series, where it is being advertised that CM Punk will FINALLY get his hands on Heyman the way that he wants to at the annual November PPV.
