Former WWE Champion CM Punk may have new entrance music at Payback. Punk could be coming down the ramp to a song from the band Rancid. Punk is a close personal friend with the band, and these rumors are coming in from fans at a recent Rancid show. These fans are claiming that Punk got on stage during the band’s latest concert, and it was announced (possibly as a joke) that he would be using a new song from the band called “F*ck You!” as his entrance music.

Punk is no stranger to changing theme music. His first WWE theme was a song named, “This Fire Burns,” by the Metalcore band Killswitch Engage. The song was originally recorded for the WWE’s Wreckless Intent album and was used by Randy Orton a couple of times, as well as being the theme for WWE’s Judgement Day PPV in 2006.

Punk’s latest theme, “Cult of Personality,” was recently performed by Living Colour live at WrestleMania 29. It was also Punk’s theme music while he competed in Ring of Honor, so this song had a lot sentimental value for Punk fans when he returned from his “departure of the WWE” in the summer of 2011.

If this comments made by the band and Punk weren’t just a joke, this could happen. Only one thing is for certain though, marks who think that Punk will NOT be appearing at WWE Payback this Sunday may need to start changing their theory.
